We are looking to lease 3000 or more acres for our own use by 8-10 members in our office for hunting and we just wanted to inquire if you manage or know of anything available.

    Thank you,

    Dear Sir,

REQUEST TO EXPORT TIMBER FOR YOUR PURCHASE

Our organization – NEXT MILLENNIUM HI-TECH SERVICES – is into timber procurement for local sawmills in Nigeria (among other services) and, as a result of our expertise in this field, we are looking towards the exportation of timber products for organizations who are in need of it or interested in our services.

We are based in Abeokuta, the Capital City of Ogun State of Nigeria. Ogun State is blessed with nine (9) different forest reserves scattered all over the State, which covered an area over 2,700 square kilometers. These forest reserves are filled with hardwood trees such as Teak, Gmelina, Morringa and Cashew.

The teak trees found in Ogun State is the indigeneous type called Obeche (Triplochiton sxclerxylon) and is in large quantity with a covering area of over 7,000 hectares in different forest reserves.

This tropical hardwood tree species Tectona grandis and its wood products commonly called Teak is most common to Ogun State especially and Nigeria in general.

Some of the indigeneous hardwood that can be found planted in Ogun State Forest Reserves with their local names are:

    Jebo

However, it should be noted that Nigeria, blessed with naturally thick rain forest in her southern part and the naturally endowed southern middle belt areas of the country, is the home for different kinds of wood with different usage, scattered all over the rich soil of the nation.

These tropical trees include the following, but not limited to:

if nay specific type of timber is required, we want you to note that it should be available within one of the timber-producing States in Nigeria. These States where timber can be produced naturally, including Ogun State, are:

    Ondo
    Oyo

    Akwa Ibom
    Enugu
